I updated about 2 days ago to 1.8 and since then I'm lagging to hell and my voice is choppy to everyone I talk to...is there any place any site where I can down grade..i had not upgraded since sept of last year had 1.5 version I think and was tons better than this shyte..so anyone that can help with a link if this is possible let me know.

Yes. However, you have to know the version you want to downgrade to. SL began using Amazon as a download server back in the 1.15.x. days. To get the setup program for 1.15.0.2, for example, you would go to: http://s3.amazonaws.com/download-secondlife-com/Second%20Life%201-15-0-2%20Setup.exeIf you want to see a list of all the available versions, albeit in hard-to-read http encoded form, just go to: http://s3.amazonaws.com/download-secondlife-com(there's probably a nicer way to do this, but I'm too lazy to figure it out). Remember to uninstall the version you now have before installing the new one. Personally, because you're moving between such very different versions, I would also delete your local Second Life data directory before doing this. In XP, that is at: C:\Documents and Settings\<your userid>\Application Data\SecondLife Delete the entire folder. You will have to reset your Preferences when you first login. .
