Referrer link broken?

A few weeks ago I put a link with me as referrer on a site.
I checked, and it worked.
Today I put a new referrer link somewhere. I didnt know the link adress, so I looked it up at the SL site, and posted it. It didnt work. So i looked at the older link. It's the same link, and that stopped working too.

It just takes me to https://secondlife.com/index.php

What happend?

It works fine. It shoves a cookie onto the client with your name in it so that if they -do- sign up, your name is in the referer blank.
