Lost item

Not sure if this is right place to post

I used my lst 800$ to buy a type of airplane and lost it,but i have no idea where I bought it,or if it can be returned.
All the usual stuff I did trying to find it in inventory. I need to know how to find maker. Any ideas welcome.

Ah. First, sorry to here you lost somethig relatively expensive.

As for "finding the maker", first, this could be a good place. But to help you we need to know what the plane was (and even if it WAS a plane, a hovercraft, a helo, or some other type of flight vehicle; also, single or multiple winged? Rotary or fixed? Moddable/no copy?), where you bought it. Basically, give us something to go on so that we might recognize it and, hopefully, point you in the right direction.

There are only a couple of $800 planes I can think of out there.. but, I am probably not familiar with ALL of the aircraft for sale in SL..

This is a good argument for a "Find" feature in the Inventory window.

I took pictures once i got it..I didn' try to fly till after, and then I realised it was sealed,,i was locked inside and could not do anything. (cordova sandbox)
I had to quit the game and the next day I was still inside,then later I teleported out and the vehicle was gone.

you didn't leave it in cordova did you?

I believe the Account History will show your transaction history, I know it shows incoming money, not realy sure if it shows who you pay money to...

so if it does, an $800 transaction will show up big.

How do i find account history?

I think i looked in there but i saw no names of anything. I could try again.

I had to teleport to get out of the ship, since i was locked in, then when I came back it was gone.

I knew I would lose it but I had no choice.

Adam, here are some tips that you might find helpful:

* For vehicles, only buy ones that are copyable (usuallly these are not transferable). If you're unsure what the permissions are, ask the seller. If your vehicle is copyable, you most likely won't lose it.

* To see your L$ transactions, go to https://secondlife.com/account/transactions.php. That shows you all the transactions you made each day and whith whom.

* If you find yourself "trapped" inside your own vehicle, right-click it and choose Take. It will be taken into your inventory and you'll be free.

I right cliked and it would not work the takemmor it was not showing ..the link i went there after asking for help inside but it shows nothing.

I had 815$ and after that I was down to 15$ so this was the transaction

But for some reason I can't seem to find

Uncheck the Online box next to the type-in box in the Find window.

did that and that din;'t work either

I think Jared Zander's account is now gone, although his vehicles are still for sale all over. When you buy one of his things, your money goes into the void, never to been seen again, and you can't get any product support.

Unless his alt wishes to step forward
