When I switched to windowed mode, I saw that my system sent me a warning that my virtual memory was too low and it was raising the limit on it. Should I just let it do its thing or should I setup a specific setting?

I was running SL and winamp, and the various 30+ background progs that routinely run, when I got the warning.

I been thinking of getting more memory as well, how would that effect this issue? I dont know alot about virtual memory, any help would be appreciated.

My system specs are:
WinXP
P4 2.66ghz
geforce4 mx420
512 ram

You can safely ignore that. For better performance you can set the swapfile to a fixed (larger) size - this won't help alot though, it'll just prevent windoze from having to grow the swapfile at such an inconvenient time. Ultimately you should go and buy more RAM as that will really fix this issue :)
