I keep getting an error now when i try to log in saying....
Unable to connect to Second Life.
Despite our best efforts, something unexpected has gone wrong.

Says to check the grid status but when i check it shows that its up...any 1 else have this problem?

There's grid issues in-world right now, again, teleports, inventory etc not functioning, so I am assuming logins are down or poorly functioning also.

Getting that too, looks like something has gone whackadinghoy.

Yes, I'm having the same issues, before this started I had TPed to my job and I kept walking, thought it was lag, but it logged me out and now I can't log back in, it keep attempting but it says "Despite our best efforts" sort of stuffs, Are they having issues YET AGAIN?

When joining the internet world you should always take into consideration that technical issues happen. Just relax.... this too shall pass.

good at least its not me. I love how half of the time they dont bother to update the grid status when issues like this happens so you have to really check the forums to see if its just you or if sl is screwed up again.

Orbited, crashed, now can't get in

Yeah, having the same problem. I was flying a vehicle in my own region, then suddenly got horribly orbited and disconnected. All attempts to reconnect have failed with the "despite our best attempts" error. I think the grid's down. Maybe the wildfires have broken something in the routing?

UPDATE: Ahhh, they finally posted something to the status page. One of the colocation sites went bellyup, and they closed logins until they fix it.

Its funny I was unpacking all my stuff from the hunt and BOOM..now i couldnt log back in...Thats the power of the hunt...hahahah

This on Status page:

[09:06am PST] We have temporarily closed logins to alleviate load on our database.

[Wednesday, September 02, 09:01am PST] Due to problems in one of our colocations, many regions are currently offline. Our engineers are already at work to fix this as soon as possible. We will update any news here as they become available.
