for the past 4 months i have been having Second Life problems on my Desktop. I have been told that it is my graphics card, but my computer can run other high graphics games like World of Warcraft.
this is my information that i get off the "About Secondlife..." tab in the help menu. I have no idea what it means, but i do know that it is about my graphics card. one of my friends said that he would be able to help, but doesn't know anything about ATI... and i don't either obviously. I was really hoping that someone out there could help me figure this out. i also have pictures of what i see when i log out...... but i don't know how to attach, or if i can attach them. i knwo that they would help, so if you need them, please please let me know, and i will figure out away to send them.
thank you for taking your time to read this, and any and all help is 100% welcome at this time of devistation.

Some forums here allow attachments and some don't. It seems somewhat random to me which ones allow attachments and which ones don't. They don't always work properly even in the forums where they are allowed.
You can get a free image hosting account at a place like Photobucket or use Image Shack to store your picture at. Both sites have excellent service for free. Flickr.com has good paid service but their free accounts are limited to 200 pictures displayed at a time which to me makes their free accounts useless except as a demo, but if 200 pictures is enough to suit then free Flickr is also good. There's tons of other free image hosting sites. Photobucket, Flickr, and Image Shack are all easy to operate. Photobucket will give you the exact code to paste into these forums here.
You might be able to get a Snapzilla account, that's the SL specific image storage site, at sluniverse.com or slpics.com. That let's you just send a snapshot from the SL viewer to pics@slpics.com and your image is stored.
You didn't describe your problem at all really, so there's not much to suggest at this point other than to describe what's going wrong.
