Hi all,

New to SL but having big troubles. When I have logged into SL everything seems fine (maybe a bit slow but this may be the norm - I am new after all) and then the whole thing crashes. This has repeatedly been happening since I started using SL. Happens time and time again. Guy in PC world thinks the specification of my laptop should be fine...

My previous computer had the 965 express chip,it is the bare minimum to run SL,i could run SL but i always suffered very bad lag and freezing,i would wind up in walls all the time
So i had to make a decision, leave SL as it was soo bad and frustrating with that laptop,or go out and buy a new laptop with everything needed to run SL,i chose to go buy another one,.now SL runs like a dream
To find out if you can run SL on your computer go to
canyourunit.com
Choose Secondlife from the dropdown list
It will check your computer and give you a graph showing your strong and weak spots
Also go to the SL website and you will see system requirements to run SL,minimum and recommended
