Evening all. I'm getting logged out everytime I try to TP, and I don't think I can cross sim boundaries either. I THINK, but not sure, that this started when I changed my router so my firewall is suspect number One. But I tried turning it off and it did not help.
I can use local TPs within an area.
I also cleared my cache and stripped off all clothes etc. but still no luck.
Any suggestions for other things to try before I take a hammer to various pieces of electrical equipment on my desk?
Anyone? Please? /me raises the hammer slowly...

your opening another port when you tp.... soo connect direct to the modem 1st to see if a router issue.

hmm, that sounds sensible. Except I'm not sure how to do that. I'm using a Belkin G wireless modem router (but not via wireless). I see how to disable the firewall, but not how to do as you suggest.

If it's a port problem, it might be easier just to check and see that these are open in your firewall: http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Firewall_ConfigurationIs it a NetGear? /me has had more problems with NetGear. DLink and Linksys, happy. NetGear, sometimes sad. Good luck!
