- Is my computer good enough to run Second life smoothly?
- If there are any flaws, could you point them out and recommend a better solution
- Overall, how would you rate the system?
Kind Regards,

overall looks like a good set up I don't like or do ATI cards but that one should run SL fine. if its vista bump the Ramm to 4GB for sure! do not try it at 2GB there may still be some issues with drivers for vista and these newer cards, someone that knows I am sure will pop in and say so. the core 2 duo rocks and thats a real nice one! you should be able to run windlight in ULTRA but to keep frame rates smooth you'll still most likely need to custom it (and thats fun anyway treing to get the most out of it ) there will still be lag and it seems anymore lots of rez lag, places I used to have loaded in seconds now take minutes...

Thank you for your reply... i'm going for XP ofcourse... i don't like vista hehe... I guess i will eventually bump up to 4gb someday... but not right now.
What's worrying me though is that EAH4870 has not been tested on SL yet...so i hope it'll run without a problem anyway.

I would think it would, I know the nVidia cards do like the 9800GTX all the new ones so far, with a few trys at drivers. I just bought 2 ddr2 2 GB sticks at 35$ a piece not a bad cost!
I can say its a good improvement running SL!
