HI, I try to play second life at university because my internet is down at home, but it get's stuck at verifying protocol version, then after a while it tells me it can't connect.
Could it be anythings else then a firewall that blocks outgoing connections?
Anything I could do about it?

Try uninstalling and re-installing, then make sure that there's no proxy blocking you

So its defenitly a firewall or proxy then?? damn can't do a thing about it. I doubt the system administrator will do anything for me. This place is kinda big and serious if you know what I mean  |
