During my first log in i clicked the "remember password" box. Next time I tried it was cleared, so I re-entered the info, oops, game is offline til later no prob I'll try later.

Well, now as before my log in box is empty, I enter my stuff. Oops wrong info I'm told, and get put back to log in screan. My info is there, but all the times my password has been re-entered it layed one after the other. I use arrow keys and delete the ************************ even those that are out of the password box. Yet every time I enter the info it says I did something wrong, and when I am returned to the log in screan my password box is still a huge mess of ***************************.

So, I assume I'm messing something simple up. Plz help.

Second Life opening Late today
04-23-2003 14:04
Hello,

I just made an announcement about Second Life opening late today. We had some techncial issues during a server update that wil delay us till 3:00.

Please note that we will be closing early tonight, at 10:00pm so we can make some serious changes. (see the announcements for more info)

Tomorrow, we expect to be open on time, a new version will be available then.

well they can only have the servers open a certain amount of time each day... their choice is to either screw over the europeans (i know that with my sleeping schedule though, those hours wouldn't faze me, except i wouldn't be able to log in as early), or to screw the U.S. residents :(

since they are based in the US, it makes sense for the hours to revolve around US time zones, so that the US employees can go to work at reasonable US times. incredibly selfish and egocentric, isn't it? ;)
