Whenever the message appears that is listing the new features, when it gets to "streaming audio from parcels", the bar keeps moving, but the program instantly drops to the crash logger, which then also locks up and has to be killed via task manager.
Help if anyone cares.

I now get into the game, but crash to desktop whenever trying to buy anything, purchase land, or change clothing. New version sucks. |

I was a able to log in once and then kept getting bounced when ever I used the view tool or tried to fly. Now I can't even get logged in - it is giving me the exact same error!!!
I re-installed, to no avail, still can't log in. |

Mac crashing during precache

i just spoke with iris Lament, and her Mac client is freezing every time during precaching. She's tried doing uninstall and clean installing the 1.4 client, but it doesn't help.
The Preview version of 1.4 is still online at this point, for anyone who can't get into 1.4. The Preview can be downloaded at www.secondlife.com/preview |

experiencing the same problem...either I cannot log in to SL or I cannot move much; when I fly over a few parcels I get dropped to desktop.
 I tryed to reinstall, ran at lower screen resolutions, ran everything with minimal settings...no idea to solve this right now trying all nite... |

Mac Crash on Startup

I was having great problems right after the install.
Thing are running great now. I did a search on "SecondLife," placed all contents (applications, cache file, logs, etc.) in trash. Emptied trash, downloaded a new disc Image. Clean reinstall, now SL is running very well. Not sure if this will help others, but this solution worked for me. Regards, Jac |
