A few hours ago I tried to put on a skin, but it was missing... the folder was there but the skin was gone, so i relogged and everything, still not there... Now9 hours later, the skin is their but now several of my clothes, objects and hair are missing!!!! Even though i might be wearing the skin, it still won't come up in the inventory. Please Help  |

Hi hun, this happens alot in SL, I find if i clear my cache things usually return to their rightfull place and folders. But do be warned when you clear your cache you may lose your friends list for about an hour or so, not really sure why that happens but it does come back. I clear my cache about once a month or so, if you build alot or buy alot of items things get mislaid. try n get rid of things in your inventory called object, you are never gonna rezz things called object because you dont know what they are lol so thatll clear it up a little.

Yeah, Cheyanne, I discovered that helps.
Also, even though I am new here, it was happening to me after aquiring a lot of land marks and objects, etc. I discovered that organizing things into the folders they belong, even a few new folders here and there ("Avatars" folder, "Furniture," etc) really helped.
Clearing the cache once a week now, on Sundays, along wtih looking closely at things to make sure everything is ok, makes all the difference for me.
