Connecting to SL voice disconnects my internet

Hi,

I've been trying to connect to voice, but every time it says connecting to voice my laptop disconnects from the internet. Does anyone know why?

If you have a voip telephone service built in to either your router or modem it will disconnect and cause your router or modem to restart. I have vonage and this happens everytime I start using voice. Sometimes the vonage router can restartquick enough. Sometimes it cant and I have to try again. Most of the time though I just dont use voice if I can help it.

I don't have vonage, though.
