Unable to render bloom and glow effects

I had some trouble with my pc and had to reformat it. One of the problems was with os being unable to update for some strange reason and the other was Problems with sl My viewer would explode and I couldn't see anything on screen I later found out though by posting my problem on here that it was just my vbo settings do to my older hardware.

So now I have a new problem. Be for I could render glow in fact I could run sl on ultra every shader on and all that and this right be for i reformatted my pc witch was less then a few weeks ago. and now for some reason I can longer render glow at all i can turn on basic shaders and in the debug settings it says that glow is enabled but I don't see it. Also It will no longer allow me to check the boxes for hardware skinning and avatar clothe why is that?

SL is seeing a wimpier graphics adapter than the one you have. After you reformatted, did you install the latest and/or greatest (the very latest often isn't the greatest) driver for your adapter?

I had to go online and download the latest drivers fr it as I couldn't find the disk because of the age of the card ati had the last updated driver in this big catylist pack. I Have two radeon 9800 pros. I did find the disk though and redid the cards drivers with ti and no change it runs a little faster now though and I don't have trouble with my vbo settings I can turn it on and have no trouble but again no glow effects.

Being able to see glow is a function of your video card. I don't know ATI drivers except that some of the catalyst drivers seem to have problems with SL in general. Go to ATI website and search for the ATI Catalyst 9.10.....it's not the latest driver. That driver has been reported to work well with SL.
