Ok so I made a face skin (head tattoo) and I don't know whats up but my eyelashes are gone. Well, ok not gone but they are skin colored so they may as well be. I tried alpha channels, I tried adding color to all the right places .. I got eyeliner but never eyelashes. All told I tried like 10 different things to get my eyelashes to come back. The only that worked was taking off the tattoo.  What am I doing wrong? Is it me? Is it a bug? Xenon, I need you and your furry feet to please help! |

Mis, when you apply a face tattoo that isn't just added to the default SL texture, it overrides everything. The eyelashes are actually on the face texture map, and if you don't have them on that map, they won't show up on your avatar.
At least, that's what /sounds/ like is happening. Did you compare your map to the default one to see if eyelashes are painted there?

If you apply a tattoo with alpha textures, only your design will show, over the default. With that theory, I created a transparent area over the eyes hoping the default eyelashes would show. No luck. As stated, yes I also did try to color them on my tattoo.
