Ever since the forced "upgrade" the other day, my camera controls are out of control. If I touch them, my viewer keeps moving in slow motion even when I've released my mouse. I already uninstalled and reinstalled - no help!
Can anyone offer suggestions? Settings maybe? At this point, I simply cannot use SL since I need to utilize camera controls.

If you haven't tried both the regular viewer and the release candidate viewer you should try that, because it's easy. What kind of video card and what video driver do you have?

In Preferences, on the Input & Camera tab, turn down the Camera Smoothing setting. Maybe turn it all the way down.

In second life, Help - About Second Life shows some info on your system.
In windows you can go to control panel and do display, or right click the desktop and there should be some display related option. take that.

Camera controls won't stop Spinning
11-09-2008 06:46
I have had that problem..if i understand what you're saying... While turning around I release the contols and I keep spinning in circles...
What I found to work for me is: when it happens I touch the [UpArrow] and the [L Arrow] at the same time. If that doesn't work I hit the [UpArrow] and the [R Arrow] .
One of them will usually Stop the Spinning !

spinning camera controls
07-30-2009 13:32
I did the new update.. and so far not as much spinning as before. but i had a spinning session the other day. this is driving me nuts. hopefully this bug will get sorted and quickly. I did the suggestion of clicking the camera controls between the arrows which has helped a bit. (sort of)
