I appologise if this is else where. I have tried several search options on the forums but it does nt find anything.

Is it legal to run 2 examples of SL on a PC at anyone time? ie have your main AV and an Alt logged in in word at the same time. For example having one doing some exploring or building while the alt is parked up camping somewhere?

If it is legal, how is it done. Do you just open SL twice, entering the two different log-ins?

Thanks,

Once again, sorry if this is answered somewhere else. I did searc but nothing showed up.

as long as you add the 'switch' -multiple outside the quotations, it will work. It is a Windows/OS Shell function rather that SL specific, used to open 2 or more non protected programmes so that you could say have 2 spreadsheets open at the same time and work on both (not the same one). You cannot open the SL client and run two instances of the same account/avatar, as these are flagged as protected.
