I totally understand that logins may have to be restricted from time to time, due to high loads. However, you certainly should not restrict your paying customers, and allow the non payers to stay logged in.

Nuff said..

I think Lifer & Charter accounts definitely should not be restricted.

Let's use my situation as an example (it's probably fairly common). I have an alt. She's non premium. I'm premium. I pay LL $90 a year (4 quarterly payments of $22.50). Since becoming premuim I've purchased additional Lindens 4 times at $20 a pop. My alt has purchased Lindens 1 time at $20. Peggy has agreed to pay the quarterly amount each payment cycle (of course, I can opt out anytime before the payment is due between the cycles). By entering into that agreement (signed up for the premium account at the payment specified for my plan) I have shown LL that I am "dedicated" (for lack of a better word) to Second Life......at least for the duration of the payment cycle. Peppermint (my alt) has not shown that "dedication". We've both contributed to LL......though I have shown greater "interest" than Peppermint. I have promised payment in advance........Peppermint has not. I'm a "proven asset"..........Peppermint is not.

Sort of like the folks with checking accounts at a bank. There are account holders and there are non account holders who cash checks at the bank.......maybe they purchase money orders or cashiers checks for bills or other things, but they are not account holders. Who would you imagine the bank is going to cater too? The known, proven account holder or the unknown, occassional purchaser of some product? I think you know the answer to that. And the non account holder who wants the same discount on that $1000 cashiers check for rent that the account holder gets is going to be turned down. You want the "perks:" do the necessary things to get them.

Deal with that.
