Summary for this week, beginning on 8/10/2004
Your next stipend day is 8/17/2004

Balance $ 462

Credits 937
Debits -725
Total Change 212

Estimated Base Stipend 0
Estimated Bonus 0
Estimated Total Stipend 0
What's wrong with this picture? I'm a basic member who started on 8/13/04. Even if I hadn't earned any extras (which I have, to the best of my knowledge), shouldn't the base stipend be 50? Or will I have to wait until next week for my first stipend, having started in the middle of the "week?"

(Of note, an associate of mine has already received his weekly stipend and is now shown the next week's details, since the 8/10-8/17 week is over. Shouldn't I be displaying the same?)

It's just an estimate, and they're frequently (read almost always) wrong.

They get updated daily though, so panic not...

I was logged in this morning and I saw a system message stating that they knew there were some technical problems and they were working to correct them. Possibly, stipends were effected. Wait until later in the day and check your balance again. If you still have not received your stipend by tomorrow, send support an email.

I believe you get the money on the anniversary of your week. At least that how it works with premium accounts. So you need to wait till 1 week from the 13th, i.e. this Friday.

Funny thing, they e-mailed me and said I wouldn't get a stipend until I became a full member. Except my $9.95 was already paid. ?????

I think it's one week from the day your one-week trial runs out. Even if you convert to a paid account before your free trial runs out, you don't get charged and your stipend doesn't start accumulating until the trial is up.

Also.. just so you know.. when Basic Members don't sign in at some point during the week, they don't recieve a stipend for that week. So you can't take a vacation and come back to a pool of money. You have to log in at least once during the week to recieve stipend for that week.

Yeah, I'm aware of that. I've been logged on about 12+ hours each day since starting.

An SL addict! That should take care of the once a week login requirement.

He, it is addicting, isn't it? Next, you will fall deeper in by signing up for a monthly, owning land, and so on..

Oh well, it is a lot fun!

Cheers,
