Speaking to one of two people in game (even long term ones) I'm sure this is something most people don't know.

The ground texture variations in-game look different to different people at the same time as your own SL viewer randomly picks texture variations every time you load it up.

You can be standing on what (to you) looks like golden sand, whilst to the person standing next to you (in game) it looks like you are standing on a patch of grass.

Whilst this is an "Interesting" thing to happen, and I guess provides variety.......

It does seem a rather odd thing to be happening, esp if you wish to put somethingonthe green grassy outcrop in the sand, andnext time you load up SL, you find the green grass is no longer there, but moved 10m to the left and is half the size it was 5 mins ago when you logged off.

Do we actualy have (perhsps in advanced options) somehting that stops this happening?
