Using either SL viewer or Emerald... When I try to photograph SL water I get strange tiling effects. Some make the water nearby appear to be in squares with a slightly different appearance. Others at the horizon look like reflections of land that is not in the photo frame. Only appears in the snapshots. image in the viewer looks fine. Any ideas?

GeForce 7900 (have just updated drivers from NVidia site.. is this the problem perhaps?).

i wouldnt run any nvidia card under the 8 series and try and run SL
yes your graphics card could be the problem... if you upgrade to the Nvidia 260GTX you probably could photograph anything.
However anything 9 series or higher should do the trick.

The iMac I am using here has the ATI RadeonX1600 with 128MB VRAM. Not sure how that measures up to SL requirements.

From: North Farshore The iMac I am using here has the ATI RadeonX1600 with 128MB VRAM. Not sure how that measures up to SL requirements. well 1 the ati x1600 barely meets the SL minimum requiremens.. and 2 ATI graphics are known to have issues with the OPEN GL framework that SL uses....
