Can someone help me? Because I'm at the end of my rope here. I'm trying to install the new RC viewer (because the regular viewer just freezes before I even get to the log in screen) but the installer is just stuck on "checking network connection." And I can't imagine that there's a problem with my network connection because, well, here I am.

System specs? OS? There's no way to answer any tech question without knowing what you're using.

You've been in SL a while. Has something changed to cause the regular version to stop working? Did you change a driver? Have you tried clearing your cache and turning your modem, router, computer, etc., off for a few minutes?
