Whenever I am on SL now, everything rezzes so slowly.
When I am with a friend and we go to the same place, things seem to rezz quicker for them, than they do for me.
We checked our settings under Prefs, and they are the same.
Is there anything that can be done to improve the rez speed?

There's near infinite variety in computers and your settings must reflect the needs of your own computer. List your specs.

Odds are, they're a regular at that place, and they have the objects around that area cached already, so once the grid tells their viewer the object hasn't changed, it simply loads from their hard drive. |
