Hope someone can help. I've been playing Sl for a long time and never had this problem before. Basically I can no longer run SL as I get the message that my video card driver is out of date or unsupported.
I have a GeForce 4 MX card, and it's been fine for years. I've not changed a thing on my pc. I checked and I'm running the latest driver. Any suggestions as to how I can get SL working again?
Thanks.

Gforce 4 mx's on SL shouldnt go over this version, you dont gain anything on it anyway; http://www.nvidia.com/object/winxp_2k_71.89.html Version: 71.89 Release Date: April 14, 2005 /111/1a/157533/1.html

Hi Simon. I wish LL would remove this error, in fact I may write a Jira on it. It can be triggered by two things that have nothing to do with whether your card will work with SL:
1. If you update your driver but do not first uninstall the old one, you may get this message due to a mismatch in some registry item that was not cleaned out by the new install. Uninstalling the driver, cleaning the registry, and re-doing the upgrade will usually fix this.
2. If an OpenGL configuration parameter has been set to a value that SL does not support (bit buffer depth, etc.), you will sometimes get this message. Most likely, this is not the problem --- unless you changed the defaults, OpenGL should work fine. .
