Im seeing red lines like where land ends and stuff. And I do not have the land thing on. And models are loading very slowly now.

You're talking about property lines on the ground (push 'P' to toggle) , or are you seeing red bars in the air surrounding a parcel?
Those red bars indicate that the landowner has set their land to restrict access to others. The Lindens haven't yet implemented a way to toggle them on and off, though everyone I've spoken to wishes they did. I'm sure the Lindens will add it eventually, but sooner would be better than later.
The other issue you're having --objects loading slowly-- can be due to excessive traffic. In Edit > Preferences > Network, try increasing your Maximum Bandwidth a bit. You may also want to increase your object cache.
Downloading large files, particularly on a file-sharing app like Gnutella or BitTorrent can really impact SL's performance. If you're running them, try turning them off and seeing if that improves it.
