I recently brought a motorcycle from Sinatra...which on riding around the Rodeo area ...Second life decided to crash. I rebooted my computer got back to second life ..and no motorcycle anywhere..Ive checked every file and no luck. Any ideas, i would be grateful as it did cost me L500...its a 1932 indian...thx
I did look in the lost and found folder..and no luck...thx for you reply.

Slim look in your Inventory -> Lost and Found folder...
If not here, it may show up soon... lol
And, contact the person you bought it from and they will probley give you a repalcement.

Hmm, the problem is that when you log off SL because the client crashes the motors don't shut off on vehicles, same thing when being ejected from the land or trying to get into a full sim.
I experienced this a while back and I had to look everywhere for the helicopter I lost, it ended up being on the other side of the world!
I would suggest that if you remember where the client crashed at and you remember what direction you were heading follow that route and look at your mini map, soon you should be able to find a teal dot on your mini map, unless some land owner was so mean as to delete the object off their land instead of returning it(which happens a lot when I'm in the vehicle as well...)
