Please help!! My computer is new and i have a great graphics card. I have ran sl fine on this computer for 4 months then all of the sudden today it doesn't work. When logging in its gets to the point of initializing multimedia and then crashes. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, usind the release candidate, sytem restores and i am out of ideas. Any suggestions? Thanks

None, only it that it started happening to me as well yesterday. Exactly the same symptons and the only work-around I found is to close SL using the task manager then re-log, file a crash log report then re-log.

You might have problems with Quicktime, try uninstalling it and then logging back in.

Mines been doing the same thing for a couple of days now. Out of nowhere, it was running fine all the time before hand. Just this week it's terrible.
