I downloaded the Release viewer today (as it was a mandate, not an option) and omg, I honestly feel ill walking and turning as I wait for the camera to stop moving!

Can anyone tell me if there is a way to disable this awful thing or is this suppose to be good and permanent??? hahaha

In the meantime I'm back on the old viewer and eating again ;)

There is a new bug on the server side that the Lindens need to fix, that will cause cameras to react to nearby avatars and phantom objects. I thought that was something that would affect all the viewers but maybe not... (maybe you just haven't logged on since the Havok 4 rollout?)

Anyway, the restart for that patch has been delayed, but keep an eye on the blog over the next day or three to see when it happens. Since that's a known problem, you may as well wait for it to be squashed before you tear your hair out looking for problems on your end.
