Hello. Two years ago I was banned for griefing. I've grown up now, and would like to play the game for real. I can access my account from one computer in my house that is slow, but not my laptop. Both have the same IP addresses (although my laptop is wireless), so I am stumped. How are they banning me, if not through IP? I admit I am not as savvy with computers as I used to be. I was hoping when I went off to college I would be able to play again with another IP, but if they are banning me another way, I cannot. Does anyone know how the banning process works specifically? Does it literally mean "Second Life cannot be accessed from this computer"?

From: Aviva Constantine Does it literally mean "Second Life cannot be accessed from this computer"? Yeah, they grab a hash of a few hardware parameters as a signature. Sometimes it works. Hm, don't they include a phone number with that message so you can make nice with them?
