Hi:
Last night Windows automatically upgraded. When I attempted to logon to SL I got the "unable to logon" message. I am able to get online from my Mac Laptop running wireless, and I've disabled the firewall and tried everything I can think of. I've even sent in a support request. I'm at least trying to figure out what was installed so I can attempt to disable it.
Anyone else running into a similar problem?

I had a error message after the latest 'security update' from Microsoft. A control handler was apparently taking up part of memory reserved for the operating kernel. I just uninstalled it and all was fine. When it reappeared later in my auto notification, I clicked, 'dont inform me of this update', unchecked it and clicked ok. It hasn't reappeared as yet. I never.. ever.. use auto updates... I am in charge of what goes on my machine, not some 3rd party.
