I noticed that sometimes when I am logged in, the sounds in the game get garbled and choppy, and then the volume increases to maximum for some reason. I am running a Soundblaster Pro sound card with the most current driver, and I usually run the sound level at about half level. Is this just a lag issue that others have had, or is this a legitimate problem?
I use headphones when I am on the computer, so when the sound gets messed up and starts to crank up, it hurts my ears so badly that I have to take my headphones off.
