I have joined all my land as I have purchased it, yet it is showing up as 4 or 5 plots, effectively limiting me to the number of prims i can put on my 'master' plot. How do i fix it so that it will all show as one plot?

Is your land right next to each other? If they are not, it'll show up as more plots. You can't join land plots together if they are not right next to each other. But, as long as your land is in the same sim, it should go toward your prim limit.

Of all the numbers, the ones that matter is really the top line in that objects tab window.
It tells you how many objects you have in the sim, how many you are allowed in the sim, and how many more you can build in the sim.
The rest is details about that specific plot.

As I said, all the land was joined as I purchased it. But, it is still showing as 5 seperate plots. And my plot with my house on it is only allowing 700 of the 1400 prims I am entitled too.

What they are saying is, for prim limit purposes, all of your plots (in the same sim) are added together. So if you have three plots (next to each other or not) and each is allowed 100 prims, then you could build 300 prims on just one of those plots.

Is it not letting you build? What exactly does the Object page of the About Land window say? The first line is the most important.
