unlable to log in

my log in screen has been stuck on logging in for 5mins is there any issues with the grid?

Refer to the grid status.
To be blunt, you people who constantly cry in the tech forum because the grid is down. We cant help you... Just allow Linden Labs to do their thing. I know you all want to get back to your virtual sex and shit, just have some patience and check the grid status page, before posting useless topics in this page.

wow, just so you understand i did look there first there was noting listed, so i posted here at that time, it was a simple question, i did not mean to offend anyone by it, and at the time that was posted both my log in screen and the grid staus said sl was up

Same here login gets stuck at about 15%. Grid status says everything is fine. SL isn't frozen, can still hit the cancel button. Do you happen to be trying to login from Asia?

and.. Jonathan Arna.. your response was totally out of line. There are lots of reasons to post in here.. it's possible some of us in a certain region may be effected by this. Maybe there is some known issue with last patch that needs to be checked. Your assumption that all we want to do is get in to look at virtual porn is kinda funny, if that's all people do in second life I guess your not any different than that as you are in this forum? Or do you just enjoy insulting people? As it turns out I wan't to get on because this is the only time this week I have to work on some clothing I am making.. so sue us for wanting to enjoy the game.


UPDATE:

I am running on SL mac version. I deleted the app from applications and then reinstalled with same issue. I then deleted the Home -> Library -> Application Support -> Second Life folder and then the app and reinstalled and it works for me now. Hope this helps.. Also, a suggestion in stickied /111/fb/93767/1.html though it doesn't really say much about the Library folder which took a little hunting.

Unable to login from india .... its telling to check www.secondlife.com/status for any known issue ..... but there its telling scheduled maintenance was from 6-7 may .... status resolved ... do anyone know about this ?
