Hey guys I haven been able to log into SL again these past 24 hours. Keep getting stuck at logging in and the furthest I got was connecting to region then stuck. I'm really upset. This issue has been occuring on and off for the past few days. I don't receive and error message but just manually close it after some time. I managed to make an alt today and was able to log in with the alt just fine. I just cant log in with my MAIN account. I was able to log in after a LL manually "log off?" my account yesterday which I stayed till I log off manually and willingly. But I wasn't able to log in again this afternoon (GMT +  . I did uninstall reboot and reinstall, reset modem, clear cache but to no avail. The ticket website is loading like shit for me today and I have yet to succesfully get to the ticket page to file a ticket. Is anyone else having the same problem. I think its a problem with the server my account is on as I notice tia you cant log on to. Also, is it possible to transfer all my inventory from one account to another. If its possible I don't mind giving up my main account if I can get my stuff on the alt... Comments and suggestions please. This girl here is distraught... |

Have you tried logging in at different locations?
Have you deleted your settings.xml file?
Have you tried alternate viewers? Such as, the Release Candidate, Cool Viewer, Imprudence, etc.?

I am using the RC already. Could you provide any links to the rest which I can install? cause I already installed 1.21 and RC before and most other viewers reject my system cause of this.
I deleted the entire Tomoyo Breitman File before reinstallation, nothing happened. Is the settings.xml file inside it?
I tired logging in via pooley, the gossip girl sims and a friend's house. No difference, still stuck.

To find a list of alternate viewers, you can go to a web search engine such as google and type in
second life alternate viewers
You can find the Cool Viewer for windows by using a search engine with the following search terms:
cool viewer windows
If you remember ways such as these to find things, then you don't have to have links, the search engine will find them for you.
Note this is not a generic "find it yourself" suggestion. There are some things that people search for about Second Life that are at the top of a normal search engine's results, these are two examples. Also, it's a good idea to make a folder of Second Life related bookmarks.

No. I'm not trying to be lazy and not search myself. I tried before. On Rez and Cool Viewer wont work cause I have installed 1.20 and 1.21 before. So, it just say I cant run those viewers. I'm asking if you guys have any suggestion for a viewer which can run even AFTER i install 1.21 and the RC.

Thank you. All those can, you are mistaken. You can install multiple version viewers in parallel. You just need to pick a different install folder. Follow the directions on the individual viewer's websites for more details. |
