Yesterday when playing around with an object I noticed that I can make the brightness go from none to high, but after that I cannot change it to low, medium, or none. Also I could not do any of the effects. This happened with any item I tried to create. I was able to do it after the update on Tuesday but yesterday after it updated again and optimized the game per my computer's abilities - can't do it. anyone know what's going on with this?  |

When SL 'optimized' the settings for your computer, it probably disabled Local lighting, which must be on to see the lighting effects. Verify that it is turned on, and if it isnt, turn it on and relog

Thanks! I'll try that tonight. It was just so annoying because I really liked the new effects Tuesday and lost them Wednesday.  |
