I recently had to reinstall windows xp after a very nasty virus encounter. I have installed Winamp and the DSP plugin. My music uploads to the server and the server is functioning correctly, i.e. when checking the server url, it says that I am successfully streaming and lists what song is playing. Inworld, I copy the URL into the proper music area in about land. (I am a land owner and DJ and have done this successfully countless times). I get nothing now. No one else can hear it either. My partners stream and other DJs and radio stations come in but nothing from mine. I'm wondering if the new version of Winamp has something to do with this but am doubtful since it does upload. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

its not the new win amp..
I get odd bouts of shoutcast not going to the land right at times..
can people stream it out of SL ? that would rule out the shoutcast stream. and give you a place to look in the SL settings.
My guess is its something in your shoutcast settings or your soundcard setting if they can't stream it bu adding your url to win amp or i tunes or what ever they use outside of SL.
its real easy to miss one simple tic box and or soundcard setting after re doing all of it.

its not winamp it shoutcast .. check your default encoder its not set to mp3 i bet its set to acc+ plus as default and you can't change it to accept that as the default. soo go to the winamp plugins folder and delete the enc_accplus dll file and all will be well.
