command m for world map

The forum won't search on map, so I don't have any way of knowing whether this has been covered.

On Macs, Command+M minimizes the window. Therefore, I cannot use it to bring up the world map. I have tried to assign a different key combination to the action, but it seems like I cannot. And I cannot remove the combination from the minimize action.

Has anyone had this problem? Does anyone know a workaround?

Ctrl-M will do it. control and command are usually interchangeable in the Mac version of SL.
