Crashing - Looking around

So I took a couple months off of SL, and now that I'm trying to come back in, its more frustrating then ever. It seems that I can only be in high traffic areas for about 5 mins before I CRASH and while relogging back in it says "Region has begun logout process". But I when I relog, it lets me in. This does it EVERY time I CRASH, doesn't matter when or where.

Also, if I try to ALT zoom (or zoom out my camera) its almost like its too much for my computer to handle. But I have the "Recommended" Requirements..

Windows XP Pro (Service Pack 3)
AMD Athlon XP 2800+ 2.08GHz
1.50 GB of RAM
ATI Radeon 9600 / X1050 (Driver Date: 3/28/08 version 8.476.0.0)
80 GB Hard Drive

Anyone have any suggestions? I'm not sure what I should be looking for...
