i have a dual-display Windows Vista system, and the SL client refuses to start on the primary display like all my other applications. i've tried everything i can think of including multiple re-installs but it continues to start on the secondary display. i then have to minimize the window, move it to the primary display, and maximize it. then the chat text in-world is wrapped at the minimized row length. Argh. help?

Hi I have dual display too don’t know how I ever managed without it.
what I have found is that windows or vista at least will open the program on the last screen that you close it on. So just move it over maximize it then close it and it should then open on that display hope this helps

Murdock this doesn't work unfortunately. SL viewer continues to always open on the second display regardless of where i close it. |

What kind of video card do you have?
Do you have SP1 for your Vista?
