Group ownership of land....HELP

I bought land last week and put up places for a few friends. Yesterday I put up a nice big house for my SL GF and myself. Later in the day I IMed a Linden and found out how to put the land in ownership of the group so that my group of friends will have rights on the land. When I logged out the house and all the stuff I had put on the parcel was returned. :0 Hours wasted!

I figured out that I needed to set a feature on the land properties to Zero (0) instead of One (1). Now, things stay put. But, what happens if someone not in the group enters the land? Will they be able to put out items that will not be returned?

Am I using the best method to help my friends? Any and all help appreciated!

Check out the Edit Land feature when you're standing on it.

You can lock down your land in several ways.

Also, any officer of your group can sell the land without the group founder's permission.
