Female Form not retaining shape across logins

Dear folks,

I have bug-reported this and was told it had been fixed, however, it has most definitely not. Thus, I am bringing it up here, as it is completely and utterly reproducable by any avatar on any system.

Bug: When on a female avatar the torso muscle slider is brought to the maximum (100), it will show during that login. On future logins, however, the torso musculature will be mysteriously shown at the default level. Going into Edit Appearance will "snap" it back to 100 only AFTER the Torso button is hit (the slider need not be touched whatsoever). This behavior will have to be repeated upon each and every login in order to have the avatar appear correct, or else it will have the default torso musculature.

I had originally thought it may be a broken shape file, and tried a total reinstall, then a new shape file, and the process was consistent. I then had a few friends in female form attempt the same, the results were completely, perfectly duplicatable.

This occurs irregardless of machine specs, type, cards, or anything else, including geographic location, connection speed, network lag, etc.

I would dearly like this resolved, as it is an annoyance I would love to dispense with (having to edit my appearance every time upon login.)

I encourage any and all to attempt this and to report this bug, as it seems only the loudest of stinks seem to get resolved.

If there is ANY possible end-user solution to this (other than NOT having my avatar's appearance having maximized torso musculature) I would dearly like to know it.

With thanks in advance,

Greets Mika--I've moved this to Technical Issues so we can discuss more. Since it's about an individual bug report, it's the right place too, for reasons explained here.

Thanx for all the details. When I have a moment later tonite, I will give this a spin for myself and post back here.

THIS--Ladies, Gentlemen, and assorted conglomerates of panmorphic genders, is a SHINING EXAMPLE of a SUPERB BUG REPRO.

Mika, I did it for myself, your instructions were sooo easy to follow and it happened to me too!

THANK YOU FOR SUCH A WONDERFUL DESCRIPTION, and having done all the major things like ruling out misc. mitigating factors, getting others involved, and moreso!

THIS IS BEAUTIFUL.

That being said--we've got it entered as a KNOWN ISSUE thanx to you... Sam Linden has read your bug report and I'll append this forum thread too.

Again, THANK YOU. :D

That's too good, Lex... funniest thing is I had a kite in my hand. I guess all that kite-flying does a body good...
