Try this code out: float x = 0.0; rotation rot;
rot.w = x;
Error: Use of vector or quaternion method on incorrect typeX, Y and Z members all are accessable fine. The only way to set w specifically is with: direction = <direction.x,direction.y,direction.z,value>; which is pointless because you can never read back the value of w.
