I have an older platform with some works in progress. How do I move it all together above 750m where there is a lot less clutter? A step-by-step would be helpful as this is very new territory for me.

First off, you need to be using client 1.20 or better. these atm are RC's and betas, so if you didnt need it right away, I would wait for the 1.20 viewer to come out. Otherwise you can download the new RC viewer and use that. I have built at 4K and have sence taken it down due to the fact when you change back to 1.19X, and you got to edit something that high that you put on the 1.20 viewer,, well.. guess what happens.... yep.. soon as you move it, it goes POOF... back down to below 768 meters, so you have to go chasing it... WhenI did this , this was about 2 to 3 weeks ago, myabe its fixed by now. No keep in mind if any one ou tthere is like me, I have others that help build and not all of them use the current viewer and cannot. So.. with that being said, thanks Hope this helps.. Stpe by step: Rez a box,[important] then SIT right click it and SIT on the box, in the Object tab under Position (meters) area, you will see a X (red) Y (green) and Z (bluie) , in the BLUE Z, enter 4000 and press enter. Also Torley has a video with this info in the video, I dont remeber which one is was atm. But I know it was in the video , cause thats how I knew about it. KickMe

The 1.19x client has a build in limit, if you enter a z value above ~750 it caps it at ~750. This is the old server software limit. That limit got increased. New serer software allows prims to be placed, moved and not forgotten up to 4096m. Scripts can move prims that high, even without vehicle code. The release candidate can move and place them that high, he has that cap-filter changed.
if anyone tries to move them that high while using the 1.19x client the prim will move down to 750m. That, and the instability of the RC make this feature useless and you will be VERY lonely up that high.
also, sittargets have no range check on DEBUG_CHANNEL for heicht values in current versions, they instantly get you to 2^31 and -2^31.

I'm going to be using 1.19.1.4 for a while. My notebook's graphics card won't reach any higher, and this Nicholaz EC is so nice, anyway. You've given me plenty enough to get higher than I am. My photographic vision is obstructed on all sides by new objects seemingly every day. At 700m, not so much yet and hopefully, most new sky builders will be heading higher.
