A dumb question from a relative noobie, but from a week or so ago a DOS window full of running code opens up when I start sl and stays. If I close the window it closes my viewer too. Can anyone help me turn it off?

thats the "debug console", if my memory serves me right the on/off switch is somewhere in the advanced menu, but i might be wrong on that.

Yep - it is indeed under Advanced, though I also don't know exactly what it's called. It's something sorta-obvious, though, once you know where to look for it. Console something or something.

If you don't have an menu called Advanced, pres ctrl-alt-d.
