I can't seem to log on so it told me to grab my log file & send it to tech support & then I got an e-mail say that tech support may not be there during the holidays.....

Soooooooooo anyhoooooooooo

Here is the log file as a text file, any help will be thanked for in advance....
I think I might need my Inv cleaned up as there was a lotta stuff in it last I looked.....

as SL was crashing a lot whenever I tele someplace the othe night....

Yeah, I'm having the same problem. I'm pretty sure it's a server problem, not inventory.

Though it would speed log in time if ones inventory is less cluttered...

Oy... I get that there are major problems today. But does ANYONE have any idea as to when we'll be back on??? Like a ballpark figure. You know, tonight? tomorrow? three months from now? (*is scared because that very thing happened just recently to another site I like*)

I know it's hard to judge, but I'd like something I could count down to. Or at least a little more info on the problem. It's all very secret, apparently. Grrr.

The error I am seeing is telling me to check to make sure my computer's clock is set to the correct time, and it is. The state I am in does not follow Daylight Savings Time. Anyway, probably not the point, buuuut...

Suggestions, anyone?

This is crazy.....I was supposed to run an event 2nite...not just one but TWO...my gosh...*sigh* they need to hurry......and some ppl are in already too....man...I hope it is working by at least sunday my boo boo is coming back !!!! YEAAAA ok im done....

I WAS having the same problem , then it finally logged me in for about 2 hrs , then I got booted out of the game , probably another bug , it botted me out like when a sim crashes , or goes down (same thing really lol) But.....It said something different....If only I could remember what it said =) lol , whats going on , I can't get my fix for today or something? *sobs*

Usually hanging on Preparing inventory, though a couple of times I've seen contacting User Server. This is amazing at how bad, and how long this has been...

Maybe it's time to turn off my computer in put in the Memory stick that I got for christmas... more client side memory ought to fix this.

Well it's been 2 days since this trouble started. I know every1 has spoken of problems in trying to log in. I just wanted 2 add my 2 cents. I've had all the error msgs. from the 1 suggesting I send in the log file, which I can't find, to the 1 suggesting I change my clock. As usual entertaining but hardly helpful lol. I got in for bout an hr yesterday but not sinse. Oh well, I just miss my fix lol. Here's hoping i get in eventually.

Please ALWAYS check the "Announcements" area of the forum FIRST. This is the nifty spot on the board where Linden Lab employees will post to tell us if there are problems with the system.

If you look, you will see that there were a number of serious technical problems over the last 3 days.

They should be resolved now - you should be prompted to download a new version of the client when you try to log in. Once you have downloaded and installed that update, you should be able to play.

If you STILL have any problems, come back to this board. Check the Announcements area! Then post your problem and folks will try to help you out.
