Hi,
this problem is something thats plagueing me since quite a while, and I cant really say what to do about it.
Basically, when building in SL, sometimes my keyboard layout will switch from german to english. Now of course, people will say that I have the language bar up and running and am hitting a hotkey or something. But the german layout is the only one in my language settings, I removed the english one, and the problem is isolated to secondlife. Any other applications are fine.
All I know is that the problem seems to always occur when using edit mode. Im using the latest default linden viewer, no 3rd party or anything. If anyone knows what combination of keys im happening to press, let me know. If I cant prevent it from happening, Id at least like to know how I can revert it without having to relog, only to have it happen again 5 minutes into building more. Its just incredibly annoying really, and a pain in the rear.

It's possible the troublesome keystroke is Left Alt - Shift.

hmm guess the second keyboard profile mustve gotten turned on without my knowledge, I do know i disabled it first thing when I got this PC. disabled it again now, and removed the hotkeys as well, I think that might fix it
