[Please Read All]

Okay, so I'll give you the quick synopsis. I opened my bank account up, to use paypal, you know, make it compatible. So that was going great. I was on my old account, Savage Diesel.

This is what went down. I made a couple of large transactions, straight from the bank through paypal, to gain some L$ for my account. It came to be around 70 bucks total. The bank however, forgot I opened up an account with Paypal, and closed down my account in fear of it being thieved. Okay.

1. I have to make a new bank account. I have done that.

2. I am now in debt with Paypal. I have called them on numerous occasions explaining what happened, but they refuse to allow me to have my account opened once again, unless I pay them about $30. (Random amount, I know.) The bank however, has proof of the transaction being finished for Paypal, for OVER $70. Which is what I wanted in Lindens for Second Life.

3. Second Life account is now in debt for about $70 because Paypal sucks, and never ran the transactions through. They completely freeze my account until I work stuff out, and pay the debt amount.

4. So, $70 down the drain. All the new land I rented, is down the drain. And it seems, unless I fork out extra money for no reason, I am not getting a huge inventory of stuff back.

Now here is where the questions roll in.

Can I transfer some stuff from my frozen account to a new account, or a friends account without actually logging into Savage Diesel? Since I can't log in. My account is frozen, remember?

I have some money left on the account, and I would love for it to go somewhere, rather than just sit there doing nothing. I also have a massive inventory full of stuff that COST money, and I don't want the Transfer stuff to go to waste. So I would like to have some of that back, or give it away.

Is there anyway at all, anyway, I can do this? Please. Or else this is just a huge screw-over, and a lot of stuff goes to waste. Thanks for reading, and hopefully somebody can help.

The money and inventory of Savage Diesel is only available to Savage Diesel.
If there was a way to transfer somebodies stuff without the somebody there would be no SL economy.

What's wrong with getting on the phone with your bank, PayPal and Linden Lab? PayPal freezing your account is one of the safeguards put in place to protect you from fraud, theft or abuse........and obviously it's not perfect. You need to contact them with all your account information handy and find out exactly how to get your problem straightened out. It can be done even if you made a mistake.......which apparently you did by not having your bank account properly linked to your PayPal account. And realise that mistakes are always frustrating and often take a long time to get corrected.......just a fact of life for computerized money transfers (which is what PayPal does when you get money from your checking account or CC). I don't know about you but I"d not write off $70.00 so quickly. Your problem lays with your PayPal account and your bank..........LL is just an innocent bystander (they didn't get paid so they are withholding your purchase........you cannot blame them). All this crap is in place to protect you......otherwise you could be cleaned out financially.

And no, you cannot transfer anything from an account that is frozen.......for very obvious reasons. You attempt to do such a thing and that account could very well be closed forever..........again for fraud protection. Trying to go around those protection policies will only deepen the "evidence" that lead PayPal to put the hold in the first place. It looked to them like something fishy was happening..........they put a stop to it until you straighten out the mistake. Don't compound your problem.

Also, how is this a technical problem? This falls in the billing area.....and there is a toll free number to call. 24/7.
