unable to connect to a simulator

I keep getting this message when trying to log in. I can log in with my friends account and he tried to log in with mine from his house. He gets the same message on my account but can log in with his. My account is paid in full so I really dont understand what could be the problem here. It isnt my computer or connection or I wouldnt be able to log in with other accounts.

I have the same problem! I cannot log in with my main account, but i can I with an alt account!

I am having the same problem, but cannot log in with any of my alts. I dont think the problem is our computers - try ping secondlife.com or tracert secondlife.com and make sure your computer can reach the SL servers. I have a clear path, so it must be something at LL.. Did any of you receive msgs with this last update that your hardware did not meet the minimum requirements to run SL?

Ugg.,.. me too now.. on both my accounts... yay...

nope... didn't get that notice.. I have 2Gig of ram and the advanced media/graphics card.. should be enough lol

All I can say is keep trying.. I eventually got in.

If you are using the remember my password feature (the check box below the name/password fields) try clearing that and reentering your name and password.

Yup....my main account can`t get on..I tried on 2 cpu`s but my alt can get on.
