Lost my plane.... again.

So i buy the "batwing" plane from Bekktte Areosapce, in about 10 min of flying ive gotten good at it. So i fly into a sim, and suddenly i standing on the ground and my plane is no where in sight. I look everywhere for it, cant find it. So I go and talk to the owner of Bekette Areospace. This guy rules he had me buy another batwing, and then he refunded me 800l$ of his own money. So i take my new plane... and litterally, 50 seconds after i get it... im flying, and BAM im back on the ground, and my plane is no where to be found. I dont want to bother Mr. Bekette again so im posting this here. Is there ANY way to recall lost objects back to your inventory.. if you dont know where they are.


Ive checked my inventory, i checked my objects, trash, lost and found... and everywhere else... cant find it.

No, but if you fly around the area you lost your plane at and watch the map, you'll see a blue dot where it was.

It's probably still stuck in the clouds somewhere. You probably flew too high, or too fast through a sim border while too high, or something like that.

Please stop cluttering up the grid like this.

Two or three times I have been a passenger on a friend's helicopter when it has suddenly disappeared. Each time we were fairly low - in fact on two occasions we were hovering looking towards a suspension bridge and each time we ended up underwater. There were no visible signs on the map and he never did find them. Fortunately, the creator has always been very understanding and replaced them, but I reckon there must be a big 'black hole' somewhere full of missing aircraft. LOL, in some ways I think of the part of SL we were in is some kind of 'Bermuda Triangle'.

I searched EVERYWHERE. Literally.... i followed what would have been its flight path through all of SL and i didnt see a tace of the blue dot.

This is something that has happened to me a number of times since 1.5 came out. I'll be flying... and then I'll cross into a new simulator... and suddenly I'm standing on the ground and the airplane is just gone! Nowhere to be found! I can walk around and cross into other sims normally, just as though I'd never been in the plane, so it doesn't act like a partial disconnect. Rarely, this will only last for a few seconds and I'll be back in the plane (with the camera broken, naturally.) But if it doesn't, that plane is gone. Vanished without a trace.

PS: Are people actually selling transfer/no-copy vehicles in this day and age? You would think vehicle builders would know better by now. All vehicles should be copy/no-transfer. They get lost regularly, it comes with the territory.
